Funded by Arts Council England, Islington Museum’s Ready To Borrow project will help improve conditions in the museum so we can borrow from many different organisations.
We will be looking at many different elements in the museum including:
- Environmental conditions -the temperature and humidity which can be really bad for objects, and how we record them
- Security -and in particular some of our display cases which are from the 1970s!
It is a really exciting project as it will let us borrow anything from anywhere…
