We are the local museum of Islington, telling stories of the people, the places and the ideas that make up our wonderful borough. The Friends of Islington Museum support the museum in all its activities!
Join us at the many events, exhibitions and projects that happen at Islington Museum and Local History Centre. Find out about the borough’s hidden histories, explore our collections and learn about what makes Islington such a fascinating place to live, work and play.
Great news – we are now OPEN! The museum’s opening times are: 11am-4pm (M, Tu, Th, F) and 10am-5pm (Sat), closed Wednesday and Sunday. All visitors are required to wear face coverings in our galleries, apart from those who are exempt. Meanwhile, exhibitions and activities are available on this site (see below) and at http://www.islington.gov.uk/heritage.
Thank you all for your support during our closure over the past year.
