Islington Museum tells the story of Islington and its communities through our collection of 4000 objects. In 2024 the museum is undergoing a full redesign. We will be updating and refreshing the space for today’s residents in response to feedback from a public consultation carried out in 2021-22.

During consultation residents told us they wanted more ways to learn and play in-gallery, and more resources to support access for more people.

We have been granted funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to deliver 7 resources designed to increase access, deepen in-gallery learning, and increase meaningful engagement with our shared local history.
